Maintenance & Care:
To maintain peak performance, we recommend replacing the HEPA filter once it transitions from white to grey or dark grey. For convenience, purchase the replacement filter with your initial order. ​
The lifespan of a HEPA filter in a laminar flow hood varies based on usage frequency and environmental conditions. In high-usage scenarios, filters may require replacement every 3-4 months. In less demanding environments, such as residential settings, filters can last up to one to two years. Regular maintenance, including cleaning or replacing pre-filters can extend the filter's lifespan.
